Shivam Diagnostics has grown from a small Ultrasound center into one of North Delhi Leading Diagnostic center in India Shivam diagnostic centre and cancer research institute is continuation of legacy of 25 years of excellence in imaging. It was started as Amrit Clinic 25 years ago equipped with ultrasound. Then upgraded with 1st transvaginal ultrasound in North Delhi. Over the years with continuous upgradation of diagnostic equipments, Mammography with rhodium filter (1st installation in North India), 3D whole body Color Doppler.

Biochemistry analyzer, fully automatic Hematology analyzer, Chemiluminescence (Hormone analyzer) and now latest addition is 3D Whole Body Spiral CT scan., with facility for triple phase/dual phase imaging of liver, CT Urography, CT Colonography, High resolution CT (HRCT) of the temporal bone and chest, renal, pulmonary and peripheral angiographies.

In addition we have facility for guided FNAC / Biopsy (CT or USG guided).

Dr.Ritesh Garg, is a SR.Consultant Radiologist working in India for the last eleven years in all the fields with special focus on interventional radiology procedures(therapeutic and diagnostic),breast imaging, Open MRI, CT,USG& color Doppler imaging and conventional radiology. During his 11 years work experience in Radiology, he has achieved proficiency in Diagnostic Radiology.

Open MRI

Open MRI is short for Magnetic Resonance Imaging. It is a procedure used in hospitals to scan patients and determine the severity of certain injuries.

The dobutamine stress echo test involves the injection of a medication called dobutamine while you are closely monitored

TMT

In this test patient is made to walk on a treadmill and electrical activity of the heart is measured with an ECG, and blood pressure recordings are taken.

PFT

PFT are a group of tests that measure how well the lungs take in and release air and how well they move gases such as oxygen from the atmosphere.

Digital OPG

OPG(Orthopantomogram) stands for Orthopantomography. It is a special method for obtaining radiographs of the teeth-bearing jaws, both upper and lower.

Digital X-RAY

Digital radiography is a form of X-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. Advantages include time efficiency.

Computerised Lab

You will be asked to lie down. The health care provider will clean several areas on your arms, legs, and chest, and then attach small patches called electrodes to the areas.

H.S.G

HSG is an X-ray test. It looks at the inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes and the area around them. It often is done for women who are having a hard time getting pregnant.

I.V.P

An intravenous pyelogram (IVP) is an X-ray test that provides pictures of the kidneys, the bladder, the ureters. An IVP can show the size, shape, and position of the urinary tract.

E.E.G

Brain cells communicate with each other by producing tiny electrical impulses. In an EEG, this faint electrical activity is measured by putting electrodes on the scalp.

Barium Studies

Barium tests are used to help see the outline of the upper parts of the gut such as the gullet (oesophagus), stomach and upper gut. A barium swallow takes about 10 minutes.

N.C.V

A nerve conduction velocity test (NCV) is an electrical test that is used to determine the adequacy of the conduction of the nerve impulse as it courses down a nerve.

EMG

The health care provider will insert a thin needle electrode through the skin into muscle. The electrode on the needle picks up the electrical activity given off by your muscles

BERA

BERA is a test measuring responses in the brain waves that are stimulated by a clicking sound to check the central auditory pathways(hearing) of the brainstem.
